EVE 628Ah LiFePO4 Prismatic Cell
EVE 628Ah is a large-format prismatic LiFePO4 cell, officially launched in January 2024 and entering mass production in December 2024. It was the industry's first 600Ah+ energy storage cell to reach mass production.
Key specifications:
l Nominal capacity: 628Ah
l Nominal voltage: 3.2V
l Single cell energy: approximately 2.009kWh
l Dimensions: 206.7 × 352.2 × 71.7mm
l Weight: approximately 11,400g
l Cycle life: ≥8,000 cycles (25°C, 0.5P charge/discharge, 70% capacity retention)
l Energy efficiency: >96%
l Internal resistance: ≤0.25mΩ
Technology highlights:
The cell uses EVE's third-generation high-speed stacking (laminating) technology, along with current collector technology and 3T thermal management technology to reduce temperature differential across the cell. It features a 14μm separator with special coating for enhanced safety, and has passed nail penetration testing.
Applications:
Designed primarily for utility-scale energy storage systems (ESS), renewable energy integration, commercial and industrial storage, and long-duration storage applications (4+ hours). A single 628Ah cell delivers roughly twice the energy of a 314Ah cell, and systems using it can reduce cell count, connectors, and BMS collection points by approximately 50% compared to 314Ah-based solutions.
